House League Information

Program commences with practice sessions and player evaluations. The coaching staff assess players in order to form teams that are as evenly balanced as possible. (Note: If you wish your child to play for a particular coach, on a particular sponsor's team, or on the same team as a friend, please inform us when you register. Although we cannot always guarantee special placings, we will do our best to meet your wishes.)

Players receive a full team uniform (good quality shorts, socks, and shirt with Spartacus crest and sponsor's name). Parents are responsible for providing shin-guards and soccer shoes.)

Summer House League play kicks off in the first week of June. All age divisions play a complete schedule of games and all teams participate in the play-offs at the end of the season.
Winter House league runs from third week in November until March Break

All age-groups play internationally-approved Mini-Soccer -- the "child-sized" game with scaled down field, goals and soccer ball. Playing six or seven-a-side (depending on age group) ensures that every child is fully involved in the game.

The emphasis is on fun and participation. We do not believe that the adult emphasis on "winning" is appropriate for youngsters in recreational soccer, and we trust our parent members to understand and support our focus on allowing kids to simply play, have fun, learn skills, and also learn to love participating in physical activity in an organized team environment. (If you wish to investigate Soccer Academy and competitive or "Rep" soccer for your young player, please indicate that on the Registration Form.)

All Spartacus House League teams are coached by paid staff coaches, many of them young adults who played their own youth soccer with Spartacus Rep teams.

The fee for Winter or Summer season is $180 per player (house league only).     

Refund Policy: House league: No refund after second session.
